"All Spice" Office Mural

Nestled in the historic Sauer Center of Downtown Richmond, the reclaimed Virginia School Supply Building is making new memories as a modern office space. My sole objective: design and paint a mural that would breathe a fun energy into the workspace. It was affectionately named for the Sauer area's spice and smell.

The idea started as random doodles from my head (top left)

The wall dimensions were 12.5ft wide x 8ft high with 3 wrapping surfaces.

The proximity of the elevator doors made it impossible to use a projector, I needed to grid the design.

I used a scale of 1ft = 100px so I could easily grid the correct design in Illustrator and transfer it using the scale

Big thanks to my painting buddy Kris Blake!

It makes a fun photo backdrop with my favorite cardinal or inspiration for some nail art!

Around the corner, I painted a dynamic wave for a soothing reading nook.
